The objective of the debating
team which was initiated in1988 is to find the new talents and to make the
students a disciplined speakers. Our students have won significant achievements
not only at the school level, but also in inter school, zonal, divisional
and provincial levels. Apart from participating in competitions organized
by other corperations, our students were capable of being the runners-up of
Gampaha district. Also, winning the provincial championship of debating competition
organized by Sirasa TV and a student of our school winning the award for the
best speaker are the important milestones of the team.
