The English Literary Association
plays a major role in promoting the international language. English days are
held annually. The dedicated teachers of the Association lead the students
in winning many competitions and among the many victories of the union, we
can proudly present ‘Peace’ the drama which won the 1st place
at the all-island drama competition organized by UNESCO in - 2001, the 1st
place at Commonwealth Essay Competition – (2000), the 1st place at all
island drama competition - 2001 and the 1st place - in the provincial drama
competition - 2002.
