Japanese Language society was founded under the patronage of Professor Kulathilake
Kumarasinghe of Kelaniya University. The Vehera Devi Japanese language society
was initiated in 1995. Working under the guidence of Professor Kulathilake
Kumarasinghe, it won the 2nd place in Japanese Language contests and it holds
Japanese language days annually.
