Literary Union was initiated with the hope of developing the knowledge of
sinhala language among students. Language day competitions, interschool competitions
and sinhala language day functions are organized by the union. Among the many
activities of the union, the most significant is the publishment of the magazine
“siyapathaka seya” containing creative works of the students along
side the “Art pageant -2005”.The union develops the use of the
language, taste, imagination and thoughts of the students. It leads the students
towards a better appreciation.
